Default Tamoxifen w/o citrate?

Would one be able to use Tamoxifen for PCT in whatever form this is?

Tamoxifen
CAS Number: 10540-29-1
Molecular formula: C26H29NO
Molecular weight: 371.52
Synonym: (Z)-2-[4-(1,2-Diphenyl-1-butenyl)phenoxy]-N,N-dimethylethanamine

If yes, how would one go about using it (opposed to the citrate)? Let's say my protocol for tamoxifen citrate was going to be 40mg ED for 2 weeks, followed by 20mg ED for 2 weeks, how would go about without citrate?

I probably sound like an idiot, I am a distant cry from a chemist. Sorry and thanks for any and all input.

Well it's definitely different..

cut+paste..
Chemically, NOLVADEX is the trans-isomer of a triphenylethylene derivative. The chemical name is (Z)2-[4-(1,2-diphenyl-1-butenyl) phenoxy]-N, N-dimethylethanamine 2 hydroxy-1,2,3- propanetricarboxylate (1:1).

Tamoxifen citrate has a molecular weight of 563.62, the pKa' is 8.85, the equilibrium solubility in water at 37°C is 0.5 mg/mL and in 0.02 N HCl at 37°C, it is 0.2 mg/mL.

looks to me like you are trying to buy the base from a chemical supply (or you already have it?)

I am only guessing on this one, but I assume that solubility and probably digestibility and absorption would be not as good as the citrate form.

Why not just get some nolvadex and not worry about it? cheap and easy to find

Nah, I don't have it, but I am in Canada and I can only find one Canadian based research chemical supplier so far, and that is what they have. They have a whole list of Tamoxifen options, just no citrate, so I that's why I was wondering.

You see, I pulled the dumb ass move of not having my PCT before I started my cycle and instead took my sources word for it that Nolvadex would be no prob to get when the time came. Well, the time is here, and no one has any! F***. I have Clomid available to me, but I'm looking at that as a last resort because of all the things I've heard about emotional issues stemming from Clomid use.

Any ideas as to what I should do? Mind you I don't have time to order anything from the US either. :-(

Post a new thread about emergency ancillaries in Canada.. See if someone can help you out.

*********** can't get to you in time? Their prices are cheap, so I'd spring for the faster delivery.. It's all legal shit so no worries.. Dunno man.. Best of luck, bet you learned eh?

I don't know if I would state that ********* are cheap but they are a great option and have fast delivery. I have heard nothing but positive things about **************.

Just use the Clomid. It will work. People used it for years before Nolva was found to work more efficiently.

Guys, as you probably noticed I edited the board sponsor from this thread. They are still considered to be a source.
