"The Cream?"

Since hearing about Barry Bonds claiming he used a cream that ended up being a steroid (which he claims he didn't know this), I was just wondering what it is, what's it really called, and how it compares to the typical injectable steroids that a lot of you guys take. Are the results comparable at all? Just curious since I'm a newbie to this. Thanks!

Anything topical like that is close to worthless for building muscle. It's funny how the so-called sports drug gurus still don't know what to give their star athletes. And 'the clear' is an oral liquid. Not too sure how powerful something like that is. I think the GH and insulin these gurus were putting the athletes on are the reasons for their success on the playing field.

That being said, I think the admin of this board has more info on it.

A theory might be that Bonds and his peeps are claiming to have gone the transdermal route and didn't know that it was roids. He should obviously know something is up if he injected and wouldn't be as easily able to claim ignorance. I think Bonds used orals and injects, the cream stuff is just a smokescreen like andro was for McGwire. In case McGwire got busted, he would say its because of the andro that everyone saw in his locker...

Whatever "The Cream" is, it doesn't show up on a drug test. That is why these athletes would use it even though it probably is nothing comared to say straight Test etc..

I agree 100%.Simply a smoke screen to cover the hardcore stuff.They figure the average joe public could deal with a little rubbing cream.McGwire absolutley covered his use with andro. i worked out in same gym during his spring traing camps.They all use it and the media only adds fuel to the fire.18 year old girl down the strret gets implants to improve her " status" but heaven forbid we want to look and feel good with a little test ,we go to jail or lose jobs.

agree with koal re the implants. women that are flat get some implants and suddenly become models or pornstars, earning their keep. guy wants to inj a little test to do the same and score the former, he is a crook. wonder if any chix with implants would like to comment on the roid thing and say it was unfair to use 'em?
