Hey all,

I am sorry I know this should not be posted here but I feel it is important as well as this section gets quite a bit of traffic.

I have a suggestion, and hoping we can get together as a whole to get it started.

We all no we get a huge amount of people on here expecting to have everything handed to them. We also have quite a few people that come on here simply to flame and screw around with no intention to actually learn and help.

I was thinking that all new members should have only have access to search and read the posts and not reply. They would stay limited members until they answer an easy/moderate series of questions that would force them to search and actualy LEARN. So things like PCT....DIET......AGE...ect..all those questions would be killed due to the fact that these guys are actually having to read through posts and learn in order to be a full use member.

And those that are here just to screw around won't waste their time trying to find answers because it's easier to go onto some other kind of forum to screw around on and leave us guys alone.

Please add on to help me out here guys,

Cory

Thumbs up Re: To: ADMIN/MODS/MEMBERS

Im new her just a Junior Member but I totally see where your coming from..... I've been reading the boards and researching forever before I joined and started posting and I still have alot to learn, but some of these people are here just to annoy people with stupid questions and half of them arent even old enough to be doing or talking about these things, so more power to ya, good idea but probably hard to get done.IDK.

P.S. (Try Not To Kick Me...lol)

I agree to a point. however their are some very interesting Newbie questions from time to time. My thoughts would be to make a sticky giving newbies a place to start, which would include (Excuse me if it dose not already exist)

Terms and abbrevations

Cycle = A 5-16 week of AAS administration which includes possible examples with explanation of what you could possibly use for cycle

PCT = post cycle therapy what is needed ? what's involved and WHY !!! it is important !

Test flu = What is it ?? I read an excellent thread started on another board (sorry meso) to which MAxRep and another had some outstanding responses and answers.

again nothing to long winded PHREEZER has done a excellent job, but it still can be confusing if its to much info at once

Just some basic info so when newbies jump on and maybe when they get authenticated the link brings them directly to that page ??

With an intro page stating rules of the board, link to Phreezers excellent post on first cycle etc

again this may exist i joined some time ago and have forgotten what happens.

we must remember we were all NEW at one time and being the type of people we are we want all our answers NOW !

thoughts ?? input ??

You mean like the original poster at 19 yrs old?
I'm a newbie in the sense that I only have a few posts but I've been lurking at this site for several years and been training for 15 years. While I know what you are trying to accomplish, it will ultimately kill the board because most new members will get fed up and go elsewhere.

I think if someone posts an idiotic question or just plain irritates others, put them on probation or something along those lines.

Then again, who decides what constitutes a good post?

I'm with Gringo on that. Something we should all try to do is to make new members abide the rules of the forum. No more surfer boy like threads.

I know I’m new here myself, but I would like to through my two cents in. I have noticed a huge increase on the extreme newbie style questions. I have also noticed a few newbie’s come on here doing nothing but bashing other members. I think it would be a great idea if all the members with the help of the mods started slowing these guys down.

Anyway I look forward to seeing what everyone is able to come up with.

When I first started reading about AAS, the thing I noticed most general FAQ type stuff missed was the practicalities of usage; like needle gauge and length, pros and cons of vials vs ampules, storage, that sort of stuff.

Everything I know about AAS I learned here on MESO. Its my fav forum and allways will be. I think it has some of the smartest most responsible mods and admins in the biz.

If you have the dedication to even think about doing steroids, researching it should be easy compared to the hard work ahead.

Too many people use steroids and have no idea how to recover off of them and they end up ruining there natural test levels or atleast making there bodies look like crap, post cycle.

So all I have to say is,, the people who care about there bodies know the risk. they know what there getting into somewhat. and If they care, its not hard to read up on how to do it safely here on MESO.

MESO offers the most information about AAS out of any forum I have ever been to. I dont think there is any need for improvement.

MESO > all other AAS forums.

Thanks to all the mods and creators of meso for giving us newbies the insight and guildence to this lifestyle. I will be forever grateful for the information on this site.

Thanks MESO!!!!

This really isn't very realistic..

The main problem that this creates is that many members would simply go elsewhere.. Which is kind of the opposite of what a succesful business wants. Remember, while the message board here is beneficial and a wonderful resource to many.. It is still basicly the back room of a business that makes it's profits from selling Books and DVD's. We certainly don't want to have potential customers go elsewhere simply because they feel the environment isn't friendly or they don't feel welcome because they have to jump through a series of hoops to be able to make a post.

Of course, with all that being said. The majority of new guys that won't research for themselves aren't worth keeping around. And most of these guys won't even be working out in six months or a year.

I guess my point is while some of the newbee posts requests may be irritating because the posters are lazy they are really nothing more than a minor inconveinance and a very small price to pay to help keep the doors open around. (can't pay for bandwidth without customers)

I think I can speak for everyone of us when I say we appreciate your sentiment (we really do!).. it's just not very feasible for a business to implement.
