Topical spironolactone

Was reading about this today and read that it is an effective topical antiandrogen and probably works better than nizoral. I wasn't interested in it before because of the side effects, but I read today that the topical spironolactone has no effects in the body. The only bad thing I read was that it will convert the DHT in the scalp to estrogen, but there are ways to control that. Anybody have experience in using it? I would also like to hear if you've had any results with nizoral too.
