Default Upping test cyp dose

I started my first cycle 8 weeks ago. I've been taking 500mg of test cyp and 500mg of EQ a week (twice a week shots). I haven't noticed too much so far. I've been eating about 3500-4000 calories a day and worlking out 5 days a week. I also do cardio 3 days a week hard for 30 minutes. My goal is to put on a lean 10-20 pounds. So far, I've only put on about 8.

With 4 weeks left, would it be beneficial to up the test cyp to 750mg a week (3 shots a week) or even 1000mg a week?

I'd say the cardio is stealing your calories. and with four weeks left I wouldn't go up that high, you shoulda done that in the middle of the cycle if you wanted to.

I wouldn't at this point. Your cardio and meager diet in the face of the cardio are the reasons you aren't seeing the results you expected.

I was ripped as shit when I started, so I didn't want to completely lose that. I just couldn't give up the cardio.

you're not telling me anything I haven't struggled with before. You just have to come to grips with the fact that you can get it back pretty quick. If this is a real self esteem concern, you may want to consider doing your cycles in the winter.

I am the same way as manny fresh. I am a cardio freak.....1 hour 7 days a week. I just started a strong mass cycle. Should I drop the cardio all together or just eat even more than what I was planning? So if I was planning on eating 5000 calories a day maybe eat 6000 a day and still do the cardio?

it's alot easier to get cut than it is to get big, you may gain some fat, but you can always lose it when you want to cut. you need bloat and fat to gain mass.

So if I drop cardio all together (except hardcore volleyball 3 times a week), upp it to 750mg a week, add 2 more weeks to the cycle (which will give me 6 weeks at 750mg a week), and consume at least 500 calories a day should I reach that 20 pound goal?

Man you are looking at this a little backwards. You think the solution is to increase your dosage when the answer's staring you in the face.

If you're not gaining, you're not eating enough. Or you're training wrong for mass. Or you're not getting enough sleep/rest.

Steroids are just a small part of the equation. Your training, diet and sleep/rest, are each alone, more important than the juice. Yet, your focus is first on the juice.

What you should do is stop your cycle now, because you're wasting 1,000mg's a week. And go spend the next several months in the nutrition and training forums. Put into practice what you learn and then after you've gotten that down a little, go do a cycle at that time.

So are you about 3500 or 4000 calories a day...or do you even know? How do you know? Do you weigh and measure your food? Do you keep a food log? If you don't, THEN START!

It depends...I go to school, so some days I'm only able to get in 3500, others I can get in 4000. So it fluctuates, but I try to get in 500 calories every 2 hours if at all possible.

I'd say drop it all together when your trying to gain mass. It's not that hard to lose bodyfay, all it takes is some discipline.

I think your jumping the gun a little to quick. Your only two pounds away from your ten to twenty pound goals. You said that you have four weeks left, wait and see what happens in those four weeks. Raising your test levels to a higher level and this being your first cycle wouldn't be a good idea. Have a little patience and cut back on the cardio or eat more.

Up your cal's to 5k and take another day off from the gym and use it for rest and see how that helps. Sounds like your very active and thats not bad or anything but you'll find it hard to pack on the mass. Steroids aren't the "Miracle Drug" and are just a part in the eqation to getting bigger. Maybe stop the cycle, gets some blood work and put together another cycle,diet and training .

maxrep is correct, you are missing something. test cyp @500mg every 7-10days is fine. at the doses you have taken in eight weeks you should have made the gains you wanted. it sounds like you are overtraining. you should take a course in a and p. train,eat,rest repeat. if you are trying to bulk up cut out cardio alltogether, you need the extra fat for energy so your body dosn't use it's protein ( it will use it first when you stress your body i.e exersize ). good luck.
