Anyone had experence with Westthroid? My dr gave me these and said they stimutale my thyroids.

Never heard of it.....What is the MCG? Is this the generic name?

It is basically the exact same thing. They even come from the same manufactor. The only difference is its SUPPOSED to have less fillers.

You would think there would be more differences since it is an over the counter drug. Thats why I wondered why I hadn't seen it mentioned more here. My Dr gave me some and all he said was it would stimulate my thyroids.

Yea, its passed off as an organic supp since the other ingrediants are all natural, but they actually get the chems from the same place so it REALLY is identical

from my understanding it wont stimulate your body's own thyroid production. It would shut your thyroid gland down or suppress it and replace production of T4. Like TRT but for your thyroid. What kind of doctor told you it will stimulate your production?

He's a D.O. his acual words were "it would stimulate my motabolism." For weight loss.
