Wow, what a lot of excuses. As far as claims go, looks like Juggernaut wins hands down. Though it was a few years ago, back in the mists of time, 535 raw bench is still quite extraordinary. Way to go, Guy. Gym owner here, young 23 yr old guy built like a rhinocerous, did 510 lbs here in our March competition. Plenty of witnesses besides me, even newspapers. Looked like his head would explode but he did it and rose up smiling. I won my much more humble category, maximum BP for the geriatric set. Solo |

Wow there the some of the strongest guys I've ever seen on here or someones full of shit. You guys keep at it and I'll keep doing my sets of heavy weight to failure at reps of 8, 6, or if I'm feeling froggy real heavy at 4 reps but i haven't maxed since I was 17 and did 285 and threw out my shoulder. Now I do workout with more than that. I repped 315 4 times a few weeks ago and it didn't feel too heavy. I worry more about looks health and not getting hurt. Maxxing to me if your not competeing as a power lifter why do you need to stroke your ego. Just a real good way to get hurt.

fucking foreman comes out of the dirt and brings up every early 2007 thread he can find... lol.. this thread is pretty cool, it could have been worse. Quote:
My excuse, I had re-constructive surgery on my left rotator cuff and I never really focused much on using free weights for chest pressing. I actually hit a straight bar on a flat bench for the first time 2 weeks ago, I did 5 sets of 10 but only with 135. I've always used the hammer strength bench machines all of those I do 90-135 per side. I'm trying to work more with dumbbells.. I'm noticing my right side a little more up there than my left and I think it's because my right helps the left when my shoulder is limited. I can pull more on my left, push more on my right.. Weird. I'm in it for the pain (pump) and glory (looking better than the other guy naked).. Heh..

I honestly don't lift for strength but my best lift was probably about 250lbs at 4 reps in 2004 at about 180lbs and at 5'9 to 5'10 in height. Now my best cycle was in 2006 before I was arrested and I know I was almost squating 405lbs for 5 reps which was almost 80lbs better then my best ever and that was when I was in high school and I could squat in the low 300's for one rep so I wonder what my true bench would have been in 2006.

how many on this thread stated a 500 lb bench??? Not many-- perhaps you want to reread dickweed before you start calling people out. ![]() the fact is I have seen 500 lbs not come close to winning many power lifting contests. |

Juggernaught's got a freaky bench one that makes whole gyms stop and stare ![]() ![]() My bench press has always been small, being a medium build guy with a bit of muscle that makes me look solid,I'm more proportioned so thats way I do BB not PL. My max bench was only 330lbs for 1 1/2 reps LOL,on small moderate doses of test and dbol when I was about 25yo, Now I have gotten back{into gym} on gear, after getting married and chasing the $ for a while,my bench went up quick from my natural ability of 220 for about 7-8 reps {lol} I ripped my pec quite bad doing 308 about 6 weeks into a test ,deca and anadrol cycle. Its getting up past my natural ability after about a year of rehab. ![]() Other than that I'm looking fucking good ![]() |

| The fact is that 500 pound PL contest lifts are a dime a dozen because of bench shirts. A 500 pound raw bench is really not that common. Except on the Internet, I mean.
