Default Why I like BD syringe's over Terumo

I took these pics long ago but I am making no endorsements for anyone just look at how much bigger the plunger is on big fingers for hard to reach injects.

The BD had bigger grip and holds 4 cc goes well over the 3 cc gauge and seems sturdier and smoother.

I see some people complaining the BD points are or seem duller I have never had an issue but if the case just get 100 18ga BD syringes for drawing and a box of 100 points of Terumo's for 13.00 per 100 and interchange and be safe and sterile.

just a rant I am tired of injecting!

good point dude, trying to inject 3ccs though a 25in pin with a turumo can be a bitch.....its much easier with BD. Bj

I seem to like terumo syringes because I'm on my first cycle and I think its important for people to learn not to inject the gear too fast and since the terumo syringe requires alot of force and the gear is still injected really slow it prevents bad injections.

you are right about not injecting too fast but its not the Turumo that makes it tough to inject it is the guage of the needle. If you are using a 25g pin then it will take long to inject oil no matter what brand you use. The BD just has a slightly bigger handle which you can grip easier with your forefinger and middle finger when you shoot. Bj

I've used both and can't tell the difference, a connoisseur I'm not.

Big fan of the BDs too bro. I notice that the BD is much smoother than the Terumo. Sometimes it is a pain in the ass to draw up with a Terumo syringe.

I've used both and can honestly say that I have settled on Terumos. I had a lot of trouble with the BD syringes, specifically the needles "stripping out" when I tried to tighten them. Also, I felt the BD syringes seemed to "stick" (not smooth) while injecting. Since making the switch to Terumo, I can definately see a difference. For me, Terumo is the winner hands down.

As far as needle guage is concerned, I use 23G. I tried 25G, but it seemed too flimsy, and it was hard as hell to inject. My hand would hurt like hell by the time I was done. I use a 22G to draw from the vial, and 23G to inject. I find if you just push easy on the plunger with a 23G needle, the injection will be slow and painless, and no hand discomfort. I just think 25G is a bit too small for oil to pass through freely enough, IMHO.

That reminds me...time to stick myself!

you just gotta make sure you screw the needle tight that is already attached because they come loose if you buy them together. I have 20g to draw so its really easy then use 23g and its so easy. I honestly think is the plunger that makes it hard to inject too fast because terumo have been known to have sticky plungers but I see that as a benefit so you take your time.

alot of people buy terumo needles and use the bd syringes so they get sharp ass pins but good plungers.
