Default Worst AAS Article of 2004

This one definitely wins the prize. If someone can dig up something worse than this, I'll be impressed. I am sure plenty of you will have much to say about the numerous lies in this article.

Very bad - especially for a major news publication. Compare and contrast this with the excellent cover story in TIME magazine last week.

But, the worst article of the year must go to the article about AAS causing "limb loss" and being used intravenously for the incredible "rush" !!!!!

Admin, the one I posted about the "limb loss" was not an article but rather a Congressional Subcommittee hearing! That is the crap our politicians listen to. I wonder who decides who is going to testify at these hearings, because they always choose the most anti-AAS, unknowledgable people.

Just as an afterthought, I am beginning to believe that we are indeed a nation of lies, deception, and misinformation. From our youngsters "learning" that Christopher Columbus discovered America, to Saddam being tied to Al Qaeda, to even the evils of anabolic steroids as portrayed in the press, how can anyone say that we are not? The mindless sheep that live in this country believe anything that anyone tells them, and never question it or ask for a bit of proof. I have never read 1984, but it is sitting on my desk and will be read soon.

Actually, there was an article in the Florida State student newspaper that apparently used this bit of (uncited) testimony to state "limb loss" as an acknowledged risk of AAS use.

Just think, if steroids could fuck this kid up that bad, you could only imagine how bad pussy would have fucked him up. In the end if you don't learn how to deal with lifes problems your going to find yourself sucking on the biz end of a .45

This puts a lot of things into perspective. When I read articles on, say, MSNBC.com about something I know little about (i.e. war in Iraq, laci peterson case....etc) I usually take their word as well researched truth. But now that I think about it, everytime they publish something that I have some knowledge on, they always seems to look really stupid. It makes me wonder why I read anything they print at all. If their articles about the war are this far off, then what is even the point. I might as well be reading about bat-boy in the funny fake magazine by the registers at the supermarket.

Yea, I definitly agree here. No person, event, or thing in my life has made me considered violence or feel dispear as much as having a girlfriend. If juice makes you that sad than its only a matter of time before your hanging from your belt in your clost.

How can you have a job where you write about things you know nothing about, it gets put out there for all to see, and you get paid for it to boot !
All these fucking idiots should be weathermen, then they can be wrong and get paid for it.

well according to doctor I dont know shit. I shud be hitting 70 home runs and making a shit load of money ah my shit must be fake. what a bunch of misinformed morons. You have to look at it this way, politicians are runing out of things to get the public stired up about each new guy comeing in to office has to leave his mark. What better way than to go after aas. Were not out there leaving any evidence of our so called abuse. It's not like were ripping off 7/11's to support what we do or muging people on the street were not going into treatment centers. " because there realy is no need" they have no evidence to suport a growing problem or a shriking one what better platform to run on, no one can argue the bull shit your throwing out there.
