Default Wrists are sore as hell...

I'm going into my 4th week (500 of Test E) and my wrists are sore as hell. I can lift of course, but I think my grip is beginning to suffer because of the soreness... any ideas?

Doing a lot of bar curls? Or preacher curls?

Actually no... I don't do many curls at all. Sometimes I use straps on heavy (for me anyway) deads, rows and chins. I think I'll cut out the straps on those last couple of heavy sets for a while and see what happens.

If you wrists are sore already, what good would getting rid of the straps do? Unless there cutting into you skin. Its usually hand position that is the problem but as I said before if it already hurts probably everything will hurt. Instead of bar rows try T-bar rows your hands/wrists will be positioned differently.

Also, you might need to lighten up a little. You might not be ready for that weight yet.

Good point, thats what happened to me with my elbows. It took almost 6 months to go away completely.

I didn't really think the Test was the culprit either. I guess I can cool it down a bit on some of my heaviest sets, but I haven't really been lifting that much heavier than when I'm not on cycle, that's the wierd part. I'll try lightening up and see what happens. I'll post an update in a few days... as always, thanks for the input guys.

It would help, but would take a month for the deca to kick in and even longer for the HGH.

Deca would be a good choice... maybe next time. Not too interested in HGH though, I haven't done enough research on it to go for it. I'll keep you guys posted on my wrist issue. I may also add some Glucosamine to my list of ancillaries too.

My wrist hurt a lot too. Sometimes I use wrist wraps / not straps if it gets too uncomfortable.

I have the same problem if I curl with too much weight, or if I use a straight bar instead of a curl bar. The curl bar really makes a difference.

Try using something called the Dyna-Flex Powerball, it is a gyroscopic ball that l use to help loosen/strengthen the wrists and forearms. After a heavy workout it really losens the hand, wrist and forearm up nicely. Also if your using regular strats try using Versa Grips, they take a lot of stress off the wrists, at least for me. When I do heavy dumbell curls and can't hold the weight anymore these really help and no wrist pain at all like regular straps.

I've seen the gyroscopic ball before. I only use the straps on the heaviest lifts, and not all the time either, sometimes I choose not to use them, but they're decent straps and don't bother me. And I stated earlier, I don't really do many curls, and when I do, I use a straight bar. I think HDH hit the nail on the head... I'm probably not ready to consistently lift as heavy as I am currently.
