| Steroid Forum: This is a discussion on WTF's up with my Test Enth... within the Anabolic Steroids forums, part of the extensive steroid information at MESO-Rx; I made some Test Enth at 250ml/cc with .5% BA only... And the shit hurts like a mofo.. Made some ... |

Are you sure it was only .5%BA? That's a very small amount, only 1/10th of a ml if you were making 20 ml's. My guess is somehow you made an error in the amounts you used. MaxRep |

Max Rep, is there any truth to the idea of people having different reactions to the different esters?...I know when I took test enth. it hurt like hell, but i have no problems at all with test prop....any ideas? Maybe this is what killerdice is experiencing.

2.5 in 50 is 5% BA i think, someone double check the math for me. |

i'm no expert but i've been trying to research this for awhile. the batch done with no bb may have been releasing the compound from the "carrier" leaving raw hormone behind. basically the oil and ba leave the injection site faster than the hormone breaks down. i believe that one of the uses for bb is to keep the hormone in solution longer cause it binds better. i'd wonder if the addition of bb to the test would help w/the pain. i'd like to hear from those that have more knowledge and experience than me on this tho. |

This is a interesting what are some others ideas. ... It starts to hurt more on the 3rd day.. I could throw in some BB... Last edited by killerdice; 12-16-2003 at 05:37 PM. |

If you only use BA as a cosolvent, the BA will leach out of the depo, since it is quite water soluable. This will cause recrystilization of the TE. This causes pain. If you use some BB ( or other less water soluable cosolvent) this will preven this from hapening. BB is less water soluable. The TE doesn't recrystalize in depo if you have enough water insoluable cosolvent. TE is not caustic it is very unlickly that TE is causing the pain. |

If you still had 50ml's, to do this, you'll need to add 2ml's of BB and 10.5ml's of oil. I've rounded the numbers off. Since you've used some and I don't know how much, hopefully you can do the math yourself to figure up how much oil and BB to add for your current situation. What I've had success with and no pain is (enanthate ester or cypionate ester) 2%BA and 4%BB. Onamission, different esters require differing amounts of BA and BB to get them to go into solution. Typically, the shorter the ester, the more solvent is required to keep it from crashing. The more solvent, the more pain. What you used as an example is the opposite of what most people experience as prop usually hurts more than something like an enanthate. Again, the 3 areas of suspicion when determining "why" there's injection site pain are; shot location, quantity injected and true amount of solvent(s). With home brew and UG lab brew, solvent miscalculations can easily occur. MaxRep |
