Ex-manager of local strip clubs arrested for sex solicitation Contra Costa Times, CA The former manager of two local strip clubs is facing criminal charges in two states for allegedly soliciting sex online from a police officer posing as a mother willing to involve her 9-year-old daughter in sex. Ward "Ryan" Welty, 36, is the former manager of Topical Lei in Upland and the Flesh Club in San Bernardino. In Welty's apartment, detectives found more than $60,000 in steroids that they allege Welty was selling, according to testimony last week during Welty's preliminary hearing in West Valley Superior Court.
