Fayetteville Police make rare steroid arrest in Arkansas Task force makes atypical steroid bust Northwest Arkansas Times, AR A self-employed personal trainer, who previously made news for driving his car into a Razorback football player's scooter, was arrested Monday night after investigators busted him with steroids and pot. Onyebuchi Odunukwe, 21, of 2672 Arroyo Ave., Apt. 3, in Fayetteville faces preliminar y felony charges involving possession of steroids with intent to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and conspiracy to deliver marijuana. [...] During a search of his residence, drug task force members allegedly found about 15 pounds of marijuana, numerous dosage units of steroids and a loaded 9 mm handgun. He was arrested at the scene. Fayetteville police Cpl. Craig Stout said he couldn't remember the last time police arrested someone for possessing steroids. "This is completely new territory for us," he said. "We don't know the specific street value of steroids, since they're not something the drug task force encounters very often. They do know that it's in the thousand-dollar range." Stout said several of the steroid dosages seized from Odunukwe's residence contained human growth hormone, which is known to stimulate growth and cell reproduction in humans.
