Default 5x5 question

Hi, I just started the dual factor 5x5 but have a few questions.

1) I have seen two different versions one that has the benchpress and js row going 5x5 on monday and friday and another version which has monday's benchpress and js row doing a 5rm and on friday doing 5x5 for both exercises. Which one is better?

2) how long should I wait between sets?

can i do two 5x5 cycles and then go into DFHT?

any help would be greatly appreciated

can u squat atleast 150% of your BW for reps??

IF the answer is no then i'd stick to the Original 5x5.

There is not a better one...everyone is differnt some like the 5x5 more than DFHT.

How long should u wait between sets?? thats up to you. just give your body time to recover. My first 5x5 i stuck to about 2min. rest periods...little more when squating

To begin with, I would just use the version on this board. In the sticky above. There are many versions and many variations. I just read a post from JS on another board talking about Day 3's squats being done 5X1 max sets. There are many tweaks, but I'd stick with this version as it is a great starting point and not too complicated. Plus, it works very well. VERY well.

Rest as long as you need to. I'm in the 3X3 phase at the moment, so my rest is fairly short since I don't need as much energy to do 3 sets of 3 as I would 5 sets of 5.
