Default bicep curl question

whenever I do curls, barbell or dumbell, I always lower the weight so my arms are straight. I notice a lot of people keep their elbows bent a little at the lowest point. Which is the proper way, does it matter? I always thought i was getting the "full range of motion" when i lower it all the way.

It's called cheating. I see people all the time doing half curls because they think it will give them a better peak. Go all the way down and let the muscle stretch, if you have to do less weight then do it. That goes the same on all movements................11

Keep on going straight with your arms. It gives your bi's a great stretch and it helps really pack the overall mass on them suckers!
