Hey Big, I did volume training ( 10 sets of 10) and in a BIG way indirectly lost alot of bodyfat. I lost more than 5% in an 8 week period. I ate fairly clean but did eat pizza and ice cream a few times each week. I stayed fairly close to maintenance calories. I did cardio MAYBE 2 times a week on the eliptical for not more than 40 minutes. When I started I was around 22% ( FAT BOY) If you want to cut calories and carbs, I have had good success doing that, however I hate the loss of strength and feeling tired and weak. Plus, I really love to eat so it is harder for me to eat ther same thing everyday for 8-10 weeks to really cut myself up. I would bet $$$ you would have awesome results doing German Volume Training, not only putting on muscle, but indirectly cutting yourself up. Good luck man! |
