Post deadlift and stiff leg exercises

Hi guys,

Last time I get an argument with one of my friends in the GYM regarding the deadlift and stiff leg exercises. When I checked in the net, I found they do the exercises almost the same way. Are they the same just differ in the names or there is a different between them??

Thanks

Deadlifts and stiff-legged deadlifts are almost nothing alike.

there not even close. thats like comparing Bench and Rows

SL works your hams and lower back
DL works more of your legs and back overall.

Form is not even close.

SL Form is an upright position all the way through with a slight bend in the knees and you lower the BB and bend at the waist

DL Form is when you squat down to the bar and pull it from the floor and thrusting forward with your hips at the mid position or the end position depending on how u look at it.
