Default DFHT - No calves?

First off, let me tell you that I just started this program this week and I am LOVING it. I made a few slight modifications, but I haven't felt this good lifting since.....well, EVER! I highly recommend everyone give this one a shot and adjust it a little to what you want.

I was just wondering why calves aren't included into the routine? I modified it and instead of doing a second day of calves with the second leg day, im going to do calves. Would this be Ok or is there a special reason that calves were not included?

Thanks for any info bros!

Is "I made a few slight modifications" a code-phrase for "I totally changed the program", like it ususally is?

To answer your question, you can add calves in, thats fine.

If you call decreasing the set number by 1 for 4 of the exercises in the entire program completely changing the system....then yes....I did change the entire program.

For a healthy individual direct calf training is largely worthless when the compound lifts are present IMO, but it won't make a difference if you add it (and if a given calf machine is closer to good looking women on aerobic equipment - why not).

Oh don't get all weepy and offended, if you've seen the bullshit we have to interpret on a daily basis, you'd know why we're so skeptical.
