I love the german volume workout..I usually do it either once or twice a year..I started doing that like 4 years back..I feel it gives me bolth strength and endurance. I remeber when I first started I could only do 4 sets of wide grip pullups for 12, 10, 8, 8....but after the german volume workout I was doing4 sets with 18,15,12,12 reps unassisted wide pullups...and this was before I started usin AAS...its def woth the try and does live up to the hype if done correctly.

like phreezer said ive done GVT2k from tmag article,,,,good to do once in awhile, to change stuff around, more hypertrophic than heavier lower rep programs, i think its worth it if timing is right. depends what you are going for, its mainly for size not too much strength oriented.

Soreness from GVT workouts is INSANE! Doing the squat/leg curl workouts would leave me walking funny for a good 3-4 days before the soreness was manageable. Here is a short article from Bryan Haycock regarding GVT. http://www.hypertrophy-specific.com/.../germ_vol.html |
