Hammerstrength

I wanted to know everyones opinion on the hammerstrength(plate or pin) machines versus free. I feel like I get good isolation and its easier to hold the burn on certain points. I like the smith rack when I bench alone( which I often do because of my schedual) because I can push heavy. I shake up my routine from time to time so as not to have the body adapt . Also does anyone know what the Hammer chest machine wieghs with no plates on it ( not the whole thing).

-I think that variety is the best incorporation into a routine that's gone stagnant...With that being said I'll use the smith machine once in a blue moon just for the shock effect--I really don't care for it for a number of reasons...
-As far as hammer strength, I like the decline bench, incline bench, high row, and military press...
-My GUESS is that it weighs about 25 lbs.

I've always used the Hammer equip for variety, love the stuff. But I can't really pack on mass unless I hit the dumbells... maybe just mental.
