Andy I'm sure you already know my take on diet. You go out and you eat whatever you want and however much of it you want to eat. As long as you're keeping to exercising and maybe a slight bit of cardio you'll see sizable gains man.
ill definetely include cardio this time round, maybe just 30min a week or something.
big thanks bro for posting that training routine, you made me see something ive been totally missing, diets just an example, long as i make up the required amounts ill just be eating whatever, worked before a treat. Long as im eating every 2-3 hours i dont really mind what it is.
thanks for the feedback guys, ill let you know how it goes.

Eveything looks good besides the post-workout meal. Take off the oats and add a powerade. What you need post-workout is high glycemic carbohydrates to replenish glycogen levels as quiclky as possible. Also i wouldn't bothr with muscletech products. They're a waste of money. If you want a creatine with balls, try Phosphagen HP by EAS or Kre-Alkalyn from EFX. Cellmas from BSN is good option as well.
Nutrition wise, also add more healthy fats and try to get most of your carbs out of fruits and vegetables and less from pasta and rice and so on. Secondly, 5 grams of creatine among with a good dose of bcaa's and carnitine/taurine or both 20'-30' before your workout will make you a beast. You can also try adding zma, beta methoxy by ultimate nutrition and hmb, at least 1,5 - 3 grams ed. Check out Muscle armor by EAS as well. It's rather expensive but it's worth every single cent.

yes, i believe it has a very slow digestive rate which is why many consume it before bed time, i will take this up on my return to the battle field.
Rein, do you mean powerade the off the shelf drink or the powder?
i tried that kre-alkyline before, mine was called "Purple-K" i dont know if those caps are the same but they look identical.
Are the bcaa and hmb ok to take in capsule form? are they as effective as the powder forms?
Hey Andy,
I mean the one off the shelf. Products are a lot different in Europe than the states so i don't really know how this applies for you guys. What kind of results did you get with Kre-Alkalyn?
I have taken bcaa's both in liquid and capsule form and all i can say is that they are absorbed a lot faster in liquid form rather than capsule form. Regarding hmb, i've only taken it in capsule form.

its hard to tell bro what results i got from the purple-k, i actually got it shippied from canada which i believe is where production of them first started.
My strength increased by a fair amount i can say that but as for size i dont know how much they owuld have contributed to that.

Best of luck to you Andy I know how it feels to be forced to lose your hard earned muscle. I'm around 155-160 down from 195.
Do any of you guys buy into the idea or have seen first hand that once you reach a certain level your body will get back to that level much easier the 2nd time around?

yes bro i do 100%, ive been there and done it, they call this "muscle memory"
I never believed it at first and thought it was bullshit but I was out a few years ago aswell to personal issues for about 7 months and lost most if not all of my gains back then.
After going back no word of a lie i blew up again to where i was in id say no more than 2-3 months of working out again, thats the only logical explanation i have for my mega fast gains i made again.
