Just started my next round of hst after a week off, anyway after Mon. workout I'm sore as hell mostly in my legs. I even noticed at the end of last week doing cardio that my legs were a little sore. Is this pretty normal with this program as for as after the week off. It seems that I read that this might happen........11

I thought I read 1 week. and I'm starting with the 15's. I thought the first week of 5's was the easiest. but the 2wks of MR will kick your ass. I def. felt more pumped up during the 15s and 10s..........11

After your first cycle and and deconditioning, most people will either do one week of 15s or skip right to the 10s. If your joints are feeling a little stressed, then I would recommend doing the 15s. SDs are usually about 9-14 days. Its possible you came back a little early, but shouldnt be a big deal. Then after this cycle you could take a longer SD to see how it compares. |

10 days is what i have done. The soreness all over again is normal. Look how many weeks since you have done 15 reps lol. I am on my second week of 15's right now. The last 2 weeks of 5's or negs can really take their toll. How did you like it overall eleven? Quote:

hey bob and thick, gotta a question about my last 2 weeks of 5's which will be starting next week. i'm not doing negatives as i don't want re-injure my forearm so i was thinking of sticking with the final weight i'll have at the end of this week and, over the next 2 weeks, just increase reps on the exercises every workout. do you guys think that's better, in terms of avoiding injury, than continuing to increase the weights used? thanks in advance.

My bad it was 9 days. ended on a fri. started a week from the following mon. I forgot to count the weekends......11 Thick Overall I was happy with HST. I saw some good gains and burnt some BF. I'm in the process of trying to get lean now so the body weight is starting to drop. I finished at 200lbs 5' 9 1/2: up from 193. i'm back down to 195 now. Would like to get to single digets in BF, I'm guessing I'm at 12% now, upper abs are showing and the veins in my arms are coming out.........11

DONT INCREASE THE WEIGHT. Bryan posted a few weeks ago that he recommended adding an extra set or if you do 4 sets total for chest like 2 sets of bench and 2 sets of incline db than do 4 sets of bench monday, 4 sets of incl on wed etc. So you would be doing 4 sets of 5 reps with your previous 1 set 5 rep max. If it is a bodypart where you only do one exercise than I would add a set or two to it depending on how you feel. Quote:

did you get a lot stronger or just underestimate your 5 rep max? In your situation I feel very strongly that increased volume is the way to go. Sidenote, i went to BH's site and looked at some SD info. Seems like it should vary b/n individuals depending on how you feel coming off your hst cycle. If you are feeling overtrained than closer to 14 days. If you are going to do the 15's again and dont feel too bad, than 7-9 days is pretty much what i got from it. Quote:

Sounds like the last few weeks have been pretty damn good in terms of progress. I know HST isn't geared towards strength but it is a definite byproduct. Glad you are enjoying that supplement. I dont know anything about it. Quote:

where did u get it from? what type of price range and dosages? How did u hear about it? I am always skeptical about this stuff but you have nothing to gain by falsifying results with it so I trust your opinion. Unless of course you own the co. or something, than i would say u r full of shit Quote:
