Default Keto diet? Or alternative plan?

I'm looking for a good diet to cut up on. I want to preserve (AND GAIN) muscle mass while burning fat. I read this
Step By Step Keto Diet Plan! - Bodybuilding.com Forums
and it looks legit, but where do I start with my meal plan? Any suggestions? Please, if someone could spell out 2 or 3 days of meals I would really appreciate it. I will repeat for the rest of the week. I already eat like a dog so repetitive meals don't really bother me, I am just looking to get Uber lean.
I have recently upped my cardio by doing 1.5 hrs of kickboxing 4 days a week and the results are very good, but I'm the kinda guy that prefers GREAT over very good!
I'm not competing or anything, but I want to go for that contest shedded look.
MUCH appreciated everyone! Very much!

Also, any must avoid foods that I need to be aware of?
ie: dairy as in low-fat cheese and fat free yogurt. I used to think those were okay because of the low-fat/high protein but noticed once I removed I was better off.
Any others that I may not be aware of?

THANKS!

Keto diets are hard to psychologically stick to because of the huge carb deficit. But youll usually get 1 cheat day a week to enjoy yourself so not too bad. They work.

So true, but the pay off is well worth it. Once your body adapts to the diet, then it gets MUCH easier for you so dont worry. Its really just the first week or two that are tough. If you can get past that, things get much better from then on in

I have been saying I want to get back on keto all summer but I have been too busy and not focused to start. Anyway everyone is different with how to keto. I personally eat meat mostly high saturated fats...not good I know...eggs...cold cuts....pork grinds...tuna wraps...wraps are large green leaf lettuce...nuts--pretty much anything with no carbs.

One tip dont do diet soda, nuts and protein powder too much in the beginning they will all keep you from reaching keto for the first few days. Also Atkins bars are great little snack with little carbs when you are craving..but stay away from those too for the first 3-4 days.

Breakfast ideas: omlettes, bacon and eggs, sausages (make sure no carbs) and eggs.

Lunch/dinner ideas: hamburgers without the rolls, steak and baby marrows/broccoli (these are mostly water and low carb veggies), chicken breast/beef strips made with mushrooms, garlic and cream, fish, pork/lamb chops, sauerkraut is very low in carb so its great with any meat, carb free sausages

Treats: sugar free jelly and sugar free ice cream
