in addition to the rows mentioned above, deads, cleans, snatch, and weighted CHINS/PULLUPS. Forget about the lat pulldowns. They don't compare to any of the preceding exercises. Good rule of thumb....Any lift in which you can move your entire body, is almost always better than a lift for the same muscle group, that is done in a stationary position. Case in point, glute/ham raise vs. leg curl. Or in your case, lat pulldown vs. chins. |
