Default Let's talk leg training..

I like to switch up the routine.. This is what I am gonna do for my legs for the next few weeks...

Squats... Start with a set of 20, then keep adding weight and dropping reps until I get to a set of 4 or 5.. I dont really care how many sets I do...

Walking Lunges... I like sets of 15's... 3 or 4 sets...

Leg Curls... I will do sets of 10's...

Calves.... Any different calf or toe raise... I like sets of 25's...

My legs grow pretty good off of high reps.. At my age, 28, I am not really looking for the 37 inch thighs I once had while I was playing football... I want athletic legs that have some endurance to them...

The squats turn into a cardio workout with that many reps. I also dont like to squat real heavy any more, so the high reps give me a nice burn...

The walking lunges just rip my ass in half. Those fucking kill my legs... Combine those with the squats and that is about all I can do...

Any comments or questions out there?

I got tired or reading who was doing what drugs. I figured I would come over here and see what other guys are doing for lifts...

DAY1 - 12,10,8,6,4 reps (high weight day) Squat, Sled, R.Deadlift, Extensions, Ham Curls, Seated Calf
DAY2 - 20,15,12,10 reps (low weight day) Same exercises

Thats my legs for the two days a week I rain them. Not back to back...... Any of you guys have similar workout for legs?

Shaboz, I know what your talkin about with the pump from the reps. On my rep day my legs feel like they're going to explode.

Bro, it was true. I squated, front squated, lunged, leg pressed like a madman. We would hit the training table and ate like fucking pigs. The food, the atmosphere were all there. You just had to show up and train. Was nice to play for a PAC 10 school.

You must recover pretty fucking quick. There is no way I could hit legs twice per week. That is a tough workout.

I love the high reps for legs. Shit just blows up and you can hardly walk.

I played competitive soccer for years. Legs are tough. How I feel after leg day is how I feel after good sex.....it's fantastic.
