I like to switch up the routine.. This is what I am gonna do for my legs for the next few weeks... Squats... Start with a set of 20, then keep adding weight and dropping reps until I get to a set of 4 or 5.. I dont really care how many sets I do... Walking Lunges... I like sets of 15's... 3 or 4 sets... Leg Curls... I will do sets of 10's... Calves.... Any different calf or toe raise... I like sets of 25's... My legs grow pretty good off of high reps.. At my age, 28, I am not really looking for the 37 inch thighs I once had while I was playing football... I want athletic legs that have some endurance to them... The squats turn into a cardio workout with that many reps. I also dont like to squat real heavy any more, so the high reps give me a nice burn... The walking lunges just rip my ass in half. Those fucking kill my legs... Combine those with the squats and that is about all I can do... Any comments or questions out there? I got tired or reading who was doing what drugs. I figured I would come over here and see what other guys are doing for lifts... |
