Something JS would constantly impress upon me a while back is that Shane really does have the musculature of Ronnie or Jay Cutler underneath his bulk...and unlike either of these two guys, he can pass a random US Olympic Committee drug test. He can also dunk a basketball and do a backflip, all at a bodyweight of like ~350-370 pounds. Not to mention he can squat 1000 pounds and put 500 pounds over his head. |

Yeah, Shane is a stud. Its a shame he got such a late start in OL. He was a world champion powerlifter for a number of years...if he had spent that time focusing on the olympic lifts, I'd imagine his total would be much higher. Its not often that superior genetics and work ethic intersect...but they certainly did in his case.
