Need advise on exercises for helping pinched nerve

I have a pinched nerve in my hip. I need to figure out what exercises I can do that might help it. I don't have any insurance so I can't get a MRI done. Yes, I know the MRI would be the best but no job,insurance, or car to even look for a job right now. I've had jobs offered to me but no transportation to do it. It's rough not having a job for 4 1/2 years.
