Default Returning to powerlifting

Hi all, i had a forced break from powerlifting just as I was really getting started in it about a year or so ago. Since then my strength kinda dwindled away from what it was. Resumed training about 3 weeks ago with a friend who used a lot of the westside protocols, but he decided to act like a bit of a fuck head about things and so now I am sans training partner for the sake of my own sanity when I train. I dunno how many of you people know paranoid wannabe gangsters, but the immaturity really gets tiring.

Anyway, I'm not unfamiliar with westside training, but there is still shit loads that I don't know about it, ie dont know where to look, some of the training isn't as straight forward for idiots like me etc.

I would really like it if any of you can gimme a hand to get up to speed with some decent training ideas, i have a routine for bench, a routine for squats (which i pretty much forget) and have no deadlift routine because my training partner didn't really do them because of all the other lower body work we did. I always have felt I needed to do them though. I wont go into much on my training at the moment, because it really is a bit of a joke and is sorely wanting a good kick in the ass. I am willing to try anything new, as long as you dumb it down enough for me to understand - what the hell is a js row? Even a totally new program, I don't care, if it works, all good, if not, back to square 1... whatever.

I wanna get competitive towards the mid-later part of the year, so if anyone is interested in helping out a basket case, please respond here.

Thanks.

Well, as I'm not a powerlifter and don't really know fuck all about powerlifting, I hadn't clicked on this thread until a minute ago because I've read everything else on the board and I needed something to read. I can't tell you much about PLing, but I could have answered the JS rows question. Of course, I'm not going to tell you now. Nah, nah, nah boo boo!

I'm such a fucking child!

You posted this question 20 hours ago, and are whining like a 12 year old spoiled rich girl because you haven't gotten a response back yet?

First of all, there are only a few powerlifters (most of the athletes bodybuild) on this board...and believe it or not, those of us who do powerlift actually have something called A REAL LIFE. We don't get paid to answer questions here, we do it because we like to help and we like to give back to an online community that helped us out when we were newbies.

We have real commitments, jobs, classes, wives, girlfriends, drinking buddies, dogs, and TRAINING that take priority over ungrateful schoolgirls like yourself.

Considering we are under no obligation to give you our FREE and INVALUABLE advice, it might be smart to consider being slightly less abrasive when ASKING for it.

Sorry if we don't come running from work or class the very second that your crybaby ass needs wiping.

Given the kind of patience you've demonstrated in this thread, its no wonder you stopped strength training before. I wonder how long you would have practiced our advice had we indeed offered it.

And yes, I realize in the time it took me to write this I could have answered your question.
