Default Routine Questions (5X5, loading/unloading, DFHT)

I'm somewhere between a novice and intermediate lifter (been lifting for 2-3 years). Currently, I'm about to apply 5x5 to my basic 4-day routine (arms, chest/back, shoulders/legs, arms again if I feel like adding a 4th day), but I have a few quick questions.

As far as 5X5 goes, what would be the best way to apply the principle to my current routine mentioned at the beginning of this post?

Also, at this point, it shouldn't be an issue where I would need to load/unload, but could someone explain me the basics of it so I could apply it to any routine I do, should I ever find a need for it? I assume it's related to problems related to peaking?

Speaking of other routines, I saw AM's DFHT routine and it looks pretty good. I train naturally, but is it still something I should consider trying after I switch from 5X5? My only issues are that a) I don't have a rack right now and b) I've always been hesitant to train more than two body parts per day.

Thanks for any help.
