Safety Squat Bar Advice-I need to choose between 2 different models-Advice Please

I am going to be buying a safety squat bar very soon most notably becauase my gym won't buy one. The bars are all pretty much the same but some have a longer/shorter yoke (part that goes over the shoulders) and have different poundage ratings. I am going to be leaving it in the gym so I am going to get the 1,500lb rated version.

The elitefts one is a $355.00 and the livewellnaturally one (with the longer yoke and angled sleeve (where the plates go) is $569.00.

Definitely get the one from elitefts. Dave is great guy, and will help you out. That bar is a crepinsek, which is like the Lexus of powerlifting equipment. That other one for $500-some odd dollars won't be as nice. I have the one dave sells and I love it.

Thanks. That is what I wanted to hear. I dont want to buy something and have it be shit. The longer yoke was a nice idea but as long as someone can say that Dave's bar works great that is all I need to know. Thanks.

If there is any way you can try one first, do it! My gym ordered a safety squat bar and we found that it bends your head forward at a uncomfortable angle.
Now it sits in the corner collecting dust!

I have the same one from elitefts. Its very good. I want to sell it. If your interested let me know. The only problem would be shipping. I don't know how I can ship it. I only used it in my basement gym. Its still new condition.

I used to have two of them, and I sold one on ebay. I shipped it UPS and it was around $35 to ship. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

What carrier? UPS? Fed Ex? Or RPS?

Also where can I get handles for the rack that are like a "U" shape or like this [| with the straight line being the rack and the [ being the handle?
All the ones I see screw into one of the holes and have one peg that is perpendicular to you |- -| like that. If thats all I can get I'll get them but Id really like the U shaped ones. I cant wait to get this thing and start squatting again.
