tore quad coupla months back,or did i????

spoke on here late nov last year about how i was doing a squat and a snap or crack came from my right quad.thing is within say 4 days it felt back to normal,i was offshore at the time for a fortnight and when i returned went back to my physio who was a bit mystified and reconed to heal so fast i didnt tear anything,maybe scar tissue from an old injury i went with some treat ment and went back to weights.within 2 weeks i was feeling the point of injury again but not like sore just as if id done something there b4.id went right down with the weight and was working with 3 sets of 15 after warming up.as this concerned me i thought id try accupuncture and see if the could maybe help me find out what id done.
once again he reckoned i hadnt torn anything but did say right at that point is where a vein ran over the quad.felt great after the treatment and he told me to continue with what i was doing,coupla weeeks later felt it again.i dont have to squat to feel it ,it can just be getting off a chair theres no pain but a strange stiffness,then i could go pump out 3 sets of 15 wth 225 and feel aok.anyone else had anything like this cus as far as ive been led to believe nobodys quite sure whats wrong.so its slightly stiff and sore to sqaut with little to no weight but feels totally fine under load,any ideas,oh yeah its about 2-3" above the right knee and to the outer of the quad heads.
