Default Weight lifting shoes

I have been thinking about investing in a pair of lifting shoes, and have been looking at these:

http://www.jfk-equipment.dk/engelsk-...as%20equipment

I live in Denmark, so i would like to buy them here, instead of the us, to avoid unnecessary shipping costs, if i have to exchange them if its the wrong size.

Any suggestions?

Those are real good shoes. Wear them only when you squat and it will be the last pair you have to buy.

Whats the exchange rate on those...how much is that in yankee money?

205$ for Adidas ironwork and 250$ for Adidas equipment.

It would be my first pair of real lifting shoes, so which one do think would be the best to start in?

Are suvh a pair of shoos good to deadlift in, or should they only be used to squatting?

Right now im training in a pair of Nike Air Jordan's basketballshoes. Would you think it would be a good move to shift to original lifting shoes?

Its up to you. Don't let the price put you off. Remember, you will ONLY wear them for squatting, so consider them a long term investment. They will make squatting MUCH easier, especially on your knees, and help you to use perfect form. They should last you for the entirety of your lifting years, so I would splurge if I were you. Both are real good shoes.

Don't wear them while deadlifting. Don't wear them for anything but olympic squats and front squats. For deadlifting, either wear a pair of very cheap, flat soled shoes (indoor soccer shoes, chuck taylors or converse allstars) or just go bare-footed. I actually prefer barefooted.

Funny, I have the exact lever belt on that page - I imagine it's an Inzer. Anyway, definitely get the good ones if you can afford the extra - I had an old pair of Addidas with the wooden heel and absolutely loved them. In addition to the squating it can help a number of lifters get into more advantageous starting positions for the clean/snatch but for pure deadlifting focus you are best not using them and pulling with chucks/slippers/barefoot as Freddy suggested.

I'd get the Addidas Ironworks. I have them. I love them and won't squat without them. It makes it so much easier to sit back and get really deep on squats. I've had them for a year and they look brand new because i only squat, deadlift, and GM in them. Some might not DL in them but I like to. But now that I read this i might deadlift barefoot just to try it. People already stare at me enough when I DL, so I might as well freak them out more by doing it without shoes. Like Freddy said, you'll have them for a while, maybe forever, so the price shouldn't matter. The newer version, although probably better, isn't necessary considering the extra money. They basically just have another strap, which you don't really need. Ironworks are good enough, they're solid as hell and you'll love them.
