Squats, step-ups, stiffleg deadlifts, Romanian deadlifts will all help build a round shapely butt.

Get her to squat and do SLDLs/RDLs. Squats 3 sets of 8-10, RDLs for 2 sets of 8-10.

BS- if she is just concerned with butt development (not overall leg development), wouldn't lunges be more effective than squats? Chances are slim that she will go as deep as she should on squats to fully recruit the glutes and IMO lunges work the glutes as well as squats do. Lunges of course do almost nothing for quad development though.

Since when do lunges do nothing for quad development? The ass is not something that you can work without drawing other muscles into it. Shes gonna have to suck it up and realize that if she wants a firm, perky ass then she is going to have to develop either her quads or hamstrings or both. |
