Default Need Help Shedding Pounds!!!

Hello Everyone...My name is Nicole and I am 19 years old. (this is my boyfriend's screenname). I am 5'5, 134lbs. estimated bodyfat is 23%. I want to get down to about 120lbs. I go to "Curves" right now which is a 30 minute resistence/cardio training program, 4 or 5 days a week. I go here because it's most convenient with my schedule. My biggest problem is probably my diet. I don't eat too bad but I don't think I eat well enough to break my barrier. My lowest weight is 130 and I can't seem to get below there. Need help with a good diet plan, I do have trouble resistening some of my favorite foods, so any techniques for suppressing appetite would be helpful. Any advice would be highly appreciated, thanks.

If your wanting to suppress your appetite all naturally,it's going to be difficult, but changing your life style- eating habits can be done over time. And the pay offs doing it all naturally over time are better once you condition your mind to say "I really don't need that."
Also if you use appetite suppresants you may bounce back after discontinuing the use of them.So it's a waste of money and energy to get down to your goal weight then pop back up and add a few extra pounds.Supressants can be used successfully, but the hardcore who really change mentally and start living everyday on a reduced amount of calories really make it.
Some athletes us a 40% pro/ 30% carb/ 30% fats,guide when cutting.
When you start to feel the hunger pains sip on ice water and fight it.
Figure your baseline caloric needs.then divide those into 4-6 small meals and try to round off each meal to the 40/ 30/ 30 %'s.
You want to avoid too much dairy, and breads.Try to tell yourself nothing goes in my mouth unless it holds a nutritutional value. So stay away from sodas.
Try doing cardio 5 days a wk,first thing in the am,on a empty stomach before starting your day.Cardio has shown to raise the avg persons metabolism for around 5-8 hrs with just 30 min's,but jumps significantly to 8-10 hrs with 45 min's. Jump starting your metabolism everyday first thing in the morning is excellent.
All ways tell your self it's going to feel better looking your best, then to give away to not doing your cardio when you feel lazy or tired. Also when temptation arises to eat and drink bad shit.
Probably wouldn't hurt to set up one day a wk where you have a cheat day and stuff you crave, but not loads of it.Just enough to satisfy the taste buds.

best wishes to you.

Freak said it all. Just allow yourself to be strong and choose the direction you desire in your heart, not what your body memory tells you(But it tastes sooo good).

I would advise you to quit curves and go to a real gym, but if that's what makes you happy, then that's what you should do.

i personally find it a lot easier dieting low carb , cause the ketones suppress the hell outta my appetite...im actually amazed at how little i need to eat to not feel hungry...it helps me also to remember food is just fuel for my body...and not something im deriving pleasure from
